Awesome unit
by Dave
Recently purchased this unit and so far I am very impressed with it. Installation was pretty straight forward, easy to use and will blow snow at least 30 ft. The only thing negative I can say at this time is the safety light should be mounted on a 12" riser and further back as I broke my mount on a snow bank. Easy fix. I also wish that they sold "drift cutters" which would help in deeper snow.

I'd give it 20 stars if I could!
by Yooper Jim
Honestly, I was apprehensive about purchasing after reading some reviews online about the mounting issues. Well, apparently Massimo heard and listened - as it came with a universal mounting kit. I mounted it to a Yanmar tractor - it mounted perfectly to the tractor with the addition of a winch - also purchased at Tractor Supply (since it was not being used with an UTV the winch was needed)... Mounting went very well and fairly quickly.
As far as performance goes.... WOW. It has become a traffic stopper here in the U.P. when people drive by and see the snow being shot off the driveway with such ease. Many folks up here plow their entire yard early in the season, making room to put the future plowed snow that will come up to 3' at a time.

The wide auger makes for 2 easy passes up the long drive, clearing an impressive 5 foot width and shooting it far from the cleared area - eliminating the need to ever have to push back a wall of plowed slow as snow builds up. This is extremely important to us, as our driveway is basically a 1 car width, and drops off in places - which would make moving plowed snow potentially dangerous with a tractor plow.

Will chime back later after more use about its reliability, durability, etc. - but initially out of the gate - its performance definitely deserves 20 stars!

No good mounting plate
by Gary
The universal mounting plate did not fit my side by side Yamaha Viking. I called tech support and was told that is the wright one go on line and see the spec. I did not start doing this yesterday I had to cut it up and re weld it to make it fit tech support not very good. Have not got use it in the snow yet but looks to be all built, will update when it snows

Very happy with this solid snowblower from Massimo
by Dale M
Bought this snowblower last June when there was an incredible price offered. This fall started to set it up for my 2006 Yamaha Grizzly 660. Found out about the unversal mounting bracket that Massimo was offering for installation, contacted customer serice and visited with Eddie on the subject. He set me up with the bracket and an extention bar for under the frame for 660. Bracket fit perfect, needed a little modification for the extension bar and everything went together very nicely. Got it all hooked up and I cannot begin to tell you how completely satisfied I am. Sure beats plowing by a mile, throws snow literarily between 20 to 40 plus feet easily. Best part, no snow bank along my driveway.

Mounted on 2017 Polaris Ranger
by KodeBear -
I have this unit mounted on my 2017 Polaris Ranger. It is true the "universal " mount is less then ideal for the 2014 or newer Polaris. I was able to mount it behind the swing arms to 2 existing bolt holes in a plate on the Ranger. However I'd really like to see a mount that fits Polaris better whereas I could get 4 bolts in the plate.
I have now used the unit 2 times this year so far and the unit is awesome. at least in dry POW snow.
So far my only knock is the mount for Polaris kinda stinks, and the instillation instructions are kinda weak. Watch the video and read the manual and be mechanically incline and you'll get it on.
Also set your suspension as stiff as possible to get a good lift on the unit.
If it's not clear a Wench is required.

Mounted on Polaris Ranger 900XP crew
by Kodebearkc -
Bought and mounted this unit on my 2017 Polaris Ranger 900XP Crew.
Mounting bracket was kinda hokey for my rig which would be true for any Polaris 2014 or newer. You can not use the U bolts that came with the unit. I had to use some Grade 8 straight bolts/nuts I had laying around.
Make sure the bracket and arm fit before mounting. I had the bracket mounted and could not get the arm to fit in the bracket, I had to unmount the bracket and make sure the arm would fit. Come to find out I had wrenched the bracket down so tight it slightly deformed the bracket preventing the arm from matting properly. 2nd go round was smoother.
I live where we get over 240 inches of snow (UT) so this thing will be put to the test. I will update this post or write another review after a few decent rounds.
Would give 5 starts if instruction manual was better written/illustrated

Depends on what you are putting it on
by TKEENE
Have not actually used plow yet but mounting plate does not fit Polaris side by sides, they are working on one that will fit, that's what we were told when we called, it looks to be a great snow blower and will update review as soon as I am able to use it, but having to rig the plate to fit our Polaris has been very difficult.
